An extension of my role as a curator of Indian cultural arts, Vidhiism Handicrafts is my endeavour to represent Indian artisans in the global market. I curate a range of handcrafted goods such as woven shawls, leather and fabric purses, block-printed bedsheets and exclusive silver jewellery directly from the makers in India. I hail from a family of heritage jewellers and all the silver jewellery has been sourced from my family’s store in Mumbai, India. Keene International Festival (KIF) is a celebration of the cultural diversity of Keene and neighboring areas. There are different music and dance performances such as West African drumming, Indian classical singing, Bollywood dance, Welsh Firebird Morris dance, Turkish Music Ensemble, along with workshops, games, pop-up shops and food stalls.
